• Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance (unless otherwise agreed).


  • We have a 24hr cancellation policy, but please try to give as much notice as possible when changing or cancelling an appointment. Sessions cancelled with less than 24hrs notice are still chargeable.

  • If you are going to be late for your appointment please contact your instructor by phone or text.

  • If you are more than 30mins late for your appointment without getting in touch, we reserve the right to assume you are not coming, but you will still be charged.

Hands on

  • Gyrotonic method involves the instructor using their hands to guide and assist you, by agreeing to the terms you are consenting to this. We understand that for some people being touched may be problematic, so please inform us in writing if you would like a hands free session.


  • Instructors have full public Liability Insurance and are certified by Gyrotonic HQ, however clients undertake exercise at their own risk. It is vital to inform the instructor of any medical or physical conditions that might affect your ability to exercise. If you have any concerns, health issues or injuries you should check with your doctor or physiotherapist about what type of exercise is suitable.

  • Gyrotonic & Gyrokinesis methods are suitable in pregnancy, but pregnant women should check with their midwife and/or doctor that it is alright for them to exercise and with what limitations, especially if you are not used to exercise.

Your session

  • Sessions are 55min to allow for changeover between clients. Your first session may include an assessment and fact find about any physical issues you have highlighted.

  • Clients should wear suitable comfortable clothing such as track suit pants or leggings and t-shirt or long sleeve top and socks. Loose shorts are not always suitable for Gyrotonic as you may have your legs in the air!
