My bespoke training focuses on helping you move with ease, recover from injury or surgery, strengthen and decompress the body and improve your posture - whatever your point. The session will be tailored to your individual needs and ability. It is more about how you feel than what you look like.

I can help you with back pain, flexibility problems, hypermobility, scoliosis, posture, hip pain, knee pain, injury rehabilitation, anxiety, sports performance.

If I think other training or treatment will be more effective or complementary I shall tell you.

Specialist training

- Professional dancers/Athletes

Gyrotonic method is used worldwide by professional athletes, golfers, tennis players, dancers, basketball players & weight lifters around the world. GYROTONIC® method training for sport & dance addresses the whole system both neural and muscular, looks at the structural balance and co-ordination of breath to help prevent injury and improve resilience.

I use my experience as a dancer, my anatomy training and specialist Gyrotonic training to help dancers recover from injury, refine their technique, spot the movement patterns leading to injury, and gain a deeper understanding of their body. - pre & post natal exercise

Gyrotonic method is ideal for pregnancy and post natal recovery, because the pelvis needs to maintain flexibility and the body needs strength. The exercise program will be specially adapted to your stage of pregnancy, your birth experience and your own physical condition. It can help with the posture changes, back and hip pain as well as helping you to prepare for birth and recover afterwards.

You do not need prior experience of Gyrotonic training because your program will be specially adapted to you.


CORPORATE WELLBEING

I can offer a group movement/exercise sessions, in your premises, for groups of 5-15. Sessions can focus on alleviating stress, managing pain, improving posture and mobility or other areas of concern. These sessions can be delivered within an approximate 2 mile radius of Birmingham City Centre - please get in touch for quotes outside this area. (More info)
